I recently had the pleasure of staying at Occidental and walked away impressed by the overall experience. the hotel's location, just a short stroll from the train station, was convenient but bear in mind the slightly hilly terrain. the room was impeccably clean, quiet, and modern - a haven after a busy day. the staff were polite and efficient, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the breakfast spread was satisfying, with fresh fruit adding a delightful touch. While the hotel offers a range of amenities like tours/ticket assistance and car hire services, the added luxuries like in-room breakfast and welcome drinks make for a pleasant stay. the value for money was evident in the well-maintained facilities and top-notch service. For those looking for a blend of luxury and affordability in Madrid, Occidental is a sensible choice. My brief visit left me contemplating a longer stay to truly relish all the hotel has to offer.
